About Rachel Blackwell
Based in Worcestershire, UK, Rachel’s vibrant and whimsical fantasy art is inspired by imagination and wild parts of rural England. She uses both traditional and digital painting to create her unique style. In addition to her smaller illustrations, she has created murals and paintings on a much larger scale.

The landscapes are often populated by woodland animals, mythical creatures, fairies, goddesses and nature spirits which weave stories through the landscape of my paintings. I use both traditional and digital painting to conjure a whimsical realm which softens the edges of a world that can sometimes be too sharp.”
