Wrapped around him, with its head held upwards in front of the man, is an animal. The head is very large, about the size of the man's head and torso, and shaped like the head of an insect. The eye sockets resemble the bodies of birds, and the neck is a Celtic knot. Colours are browns, cream, pinks and purples.

About Chris Down

Chris Down is a self-taught artist/illustrator, who has has had over a thousand images published in more than fifty books. He is Inspired by the works of the Pre-Raphaelites, 19th century symbolists, art nouveau, late 20th century fantasy artists, 9th/10th century illuminated manuscripts and dark age craftsman. Chris originally concentrated on both Celtic art and pen and ink work for books; in 2005, he took up digital figurative painting. Product details

Measures approximately 13cm by 17cm by 5.8cm deep. Made from aluminium, topped with a thin water and heat resistant plastic printed coating.

Please note that the product image is representative only, as the background is brushed silver which shimmers through the design. White areas of the design appear as gently-shimmering silver.
