    Naomi Cornock

    Naomi is a pagan artist living in the West Country of England. Naomi's art is an extension of her animist, pagan beliefs and reflects her connection to nature and her ancestors. She creates art to depict for others the magick she sees and feels every day, and in the hope that, as others view and connect with her art, they will also be able to find a deeper connection with, and value, this natural and magical world we live in.

  • Sam Cannon

    Sam Cannon is an artist and illustrator living near Lyme Regis in Dorset, England. She works in watercolours, gouache, colour pencils and graphite pencil on board, paper and slates.

  • A winding path through long grass dotted with flowers ends in a double fronted thatched cottage. Light streams from the open door.     “My paintings come from the enchanted realm of imagination and are often inspired by the pockets of wildness in rural England. The landscapes are often populated by woodland animals, mythical creatures, fairies, goddesses and nature spirits which weave stories through the landscape of my paintings. I use both traditional and digital painting to conjure a whimsical realm which softens the edges of a world that can sometimes be too sharp.”

    Inspired by nature and the seasons, Samantha lives on a small, private nature reserve in Norfolk. Along with her husband and daughter, she planted a mixed native woodland, and now enjoys seeing the trees grow up around their off-grid home.

    Esther Remmington

    British artist Esther Remmington has had a love of myth and magic for as long as she can remember, and began drawing fairytale characters when she was a child. Esther's work explores many fantastic, mythic, and spiritual themes, including dragons and Celtic Gods and Goddesses. She finds much inspiration in the beauty of nature, and because of this, you'll often find animals nestled within her paintings.

    Chris Down

    Chris Down is a self-taught artist/illustrator, who has has had over a thousand images published in more than fifty books. He is Inspired by the works of the Pre-Raphaelites, 19th century symbolists, art nouveau, late 20th century fantasy artists, 9th/10th century illuminated manuscripts and dark age craftsman. Chris originally concentrated on both Celtic art and pen and ink work for books; in 2005, he took up digital figurative painting. In 2017, the publication of the Celtic Tarot saw what Chris considers to be the culmination of 20 years worth of work and development as an artist.

    Laura Daligan

    Laura Daligan is a pagan artist and author who resides by the Quantock Hills, where she is continually inspired by the wild beauty of the land. She regularly exhibits her artwork, which has also been featured in numerous books and magazines. Laura's passion for mythology, faerie lore, animals and history are threads which weave throughout her work, and she explores these liminal themes through paint, poem and song.

  • Jane Crowther

    UK-based Jane Crowther graduated in 1986 with an Honours degree in Illustration. Whilst based in North London, she designed a small range of greeting cards, initially selling them at craft fairs alongside her paintings. These first cards featured a cute little bug character with a plastic nose and wobbly eyes, and were initially hand-painted with the noses and eyes glued on by hand. As there was nothing else like them on the market, agents and distributors began to show an interest, and the orders started to roll in. Since then Jane's business has grown and the ranges increased - a selection of which you can buy from Moondragon.

  • Anne Stokes

    Anne Stokes well known for her stunning fantasy artwork. Based in Leeds, Yorkshire, Anne Stokes is married with a young son. She has been interested in arts and crafts since a young age, and has been a full time illustrator, creating lots of artwork for the games industry including Dungeons and Dragons, for over a decade.

    Martin Hanford

    Fantasy artist Martin Hanford has been a freelance artist since graduating art college in 1994. He has produced several novel covers for Games Workshop's Black Library and many album covers for heavy metal bands. He has also worked with Interzone magazine and other Sci-Fi/Horror magazines.

  • Alexandra Dawe

    A fan of folklore, legend and fairytales, the movie ‘Labyrinth’ gave Alexandra a lifelong love of the artwork of Brian and Wendy Froud. The documentary, ‘The Making of Labyrinth’ led her to a career making models, props and special effects for TV and films. Alexandra is now an author too! Her debut novel, The Stitchwort Curse, is a teenage fantasy adventure about an eccentric family of witches living under a curse in their ruined, haunted mansion.

    Tina M Walker

    Tina Walker is an artist with a lifelong passion for drawing and painting, cultivated since her 'A' level art studies. She masterfully employs colouring pencils for their versatility, though her toolkit also includes watercolours, pen and ink, and digital art. Tina's art is deeply influenced by her interest in nature and the rich narratives of Celtic and Norse symbolism and mythology. Her home by the Severn Estuary serves as a constant source of inspiration, feeding her unique perspective:"I am often told that I look like I am away with the faeries and in a way I am; I find if you look carefully everything is magical."

    Briar was born and brought up in what was the ancient kingdom of Mercia, also home to one of Briar's heroes, JRR Tolkien. Briar studied art at a school deep in the heart of the British countryside, and finds inspiration in the Old Paths of the Ancient Lands.

  • Tamsin Abbott

    Tamsin Abbott is a stained glass illustrator who's work is rooted in the British countryside. She is not only inspired by the landscape's beauty and drama but also the invisible tapestry of myth and magic which is interwoven with its flora and fauna.  

    Tamsin aims to imbue all her work with a sense of this magic, to do justice both to the subject matter and to the glass itself; a material with alchemical qualities and a mystery of its own. 

    Most of Tamsin's artwork is painted onto English mouthblown glass and fired to give a strong woodcut-like image against the luscious colours of the glass.

    Glen Michael Herbert

    Glen Michael Herbert lives in a woodland near Dartmoor, Devon in the UK. He is known worldwide for his carving skills which he used to build his now famous Lord of the Rings inspired van, Radagast.

    Glen started airbrushing in 1987, creating 'mystical silhouette' themed fantasy art. In-between carving, he is now creating new art using his airbrush skills without digital enhancement.

    Angie Livingstone lives in Scotland where she creates bright, textured paintings which sparkle. Many contain a mystical element, and woodland animals, sacred groves and rural scenes.
