We have another new artist :)

We have a new artist! If you know her work, you'll immediately recognise Julia Jeffrey's gorgeous art :) Greeting cards, posters and prints featuring her art have just landed on the website, with loads of lovely gifts arriving soon :)

Scottish artist Julia Jeffrey draws inspiration from the magic in nature, and from Scottish folklore and witchcraft history. Julia has created artwork for tarot and oracle cards, working with American and Italian publishers. A deep connection, beginning in childhood, with 17th century Scottish Witch, Isobel Gowdie, led first to an artistic and musical collaboration inspired by Isobel’s testimony, with American musician Gillian Chadwick (Ex Reverie), and later evolved and expanded into Julia’s Witch Sister tarot.

The Seeker

A young woman crouches on a pile of stones, her hands resting on stones in front of her. In front of the stones, a little lower down, is a stone with a round hole in it surrounded by a circular pattern. The woman wears a headband with a raven skull attached to the front. A full moon rises behind her, and a silhouette of a hare leaps in front of it. An inscription over the moon reads: Up from the earth with tooth and claw we rise. Stems and flowers fill the rest of the scene.

Solstice Dawn

The head and shoulders of a woman with a raven sitting on her shoulder. She has long dark hair and her face is decorated with patterns in blue paint. Her hands are held together against her body.
