A young woman, head lowered and holding her arms under her chin, appears formed from the sea and land. Sea creatures swim below her, and a moon shines in the night sky beyond. Her body appears to be formed from columns of sea shells and waterfalls, and her hair is a flowing tree. Her wings, folded behind her, are formed from a multitude of creatures including big cats, birds, zebras and butterflies.

About Josephine Wall

"The art of painting is more than a career to me, it is an all consuming obsession and a love of colour and form. In fact, if I am away from my easel for too long I become restless and anxious to paint again" - Josephine Wall

Good quality

Good quality, shiny surface and little touches, like the treasures hanging from the raven's beak. A lovely and evocative picture. Well made coaster.
